Risk Involving With the Download of iOS 16 Public Beta
The problem with beta software must first be explained before we go on to describe how to install the iOS 16 public beta on your iPhone. For those who are unaware, betas are incomplete, which means you'll probably encounter problems, malfunctions, and sometimes even breakdowns that lock you out of certain smartphone functions.
In other words, don't assume the iOS 16 public beta to be as reliable as Apple's current operating system. That can apply to your installed applications as well as the iPhone OS itself, since some may run smoothly under iOS 15 but break under iOS 16.
Beta versions can indeed be unreliable and result in issues and problems like battery depletion, slow down, and more, even if they are public betas. Therefore, if you intend to download the iOS 16 public beta, be ready for anything.
If you want to return to iOS 15, you won't be able to recover from a backup without the need for an archived backup since Apple does not enable restoring data from more recent software releases. In short, if you back it up with iOS 16 installed, you won't be able to recover from that backup to return to iOS 15 on your device.
