We all know that this year's Computex 2021 is going on in Taiwan. Here Intel announced two new 11th Gen mobile CPUs in their existing U-series low voltage chipset lineup especially designed for thin and light portable notebooks/laptops. And we also know that in May'21 this year Intel launched its 11th Gen Tiger Lake H-series processors which are meant for powerful performance and gaming laptops.

The two newly introduced Intel U-series CPUs are 'Intel Core i7-1195G7 and Intel Core-i5-1155G7'. Both new 11th gen mobile processors are configured in a four-core/eight-thread manner and will operate in the 12W to 28W power range. The new Intel Core i7-1195G7 has a base clock speed of 2.9 GHz on the other hand all-new Intel Core i5-1155G7 has a base speed of 2.5GHz.

But the thing to note here is that the new Intel Core i7-1195G7 can go up to a 5.0 GHz maximum single-core speed all thanks to Intel's own Turbo Boost Technology, while Intel Core i5-1155G7 can achieve a maximum clock speed of 4.5GHz and both the CPUs will feature Intel Iris Xe Graphics as well. Apart from this, both the SoCs houses Wi-Fi 6E for wireless communication and will let you play new AAA game titles at 1080p resolution without breaking a sweat, Intel claims. 

Intel 5G Solution 5000

And with the launch of two new 11th Gen U-series mobile processors, Intel has also launched its latest 5G M.2 modem for the same thin and portable laptop/notebook profiles. It's going to be the first 5G modem from the house of Intel which they co-developed with MediaTek & Fibocom. The new 5G M.2 modem is named 'Intel 5G Solution 5000'. According to Intel, the new 5G modem will support 5G NR in mid-band and Sub-6GHz frequencies and will allow OEMs to provide eSIM functionality to the devices as well. ANd Intel says that HP, Asus, and Acer will start producing laptops with new Intel 11th Gen U-series mobile processors along with Intel 5G Solution 5000 modem at the later part of the year.
