The two newly introduced Intel U-series CPUs are 'Intel Core i7-1195G7 and Intel Core-i5-1155G7'. Both new 11th gen mobile processors are configured in a four-core/eight-thread manner and will operate in the 12W to 28W power range. The new Intel Core i7-1195G7 has a base clock speed of 2.9 GHz on the other hand all-new Intel Core i5-1155G7 has a base speed of 2.5GHz.

But the thing to note here is that the new Intel Core i7-1195G7 can go up to a 5.0 GHz maximum single-core speed all thanks to Intel's own Turbo Boost Technology, while Intel Core i5-1155G7 can achieve a maximum clock speed of 4.5GHz and both the CPUs will feature Intel Iris Xe Graphics as well. Apart from this, both the SoCs houses Wi-Fi 6E for wireless communication and will let you play new AAA game titles at 1080p resolution without breaking a sweat, Intel claims.

According to Intel, the new 5G modem will support 5G NR in mid-band and Sub-6GHz frequencies and will allow OEMs to provide eSIM functionality to the devices as well.
